Remote Home Assistant consulting — audit, rescue, integrations
About the service
I help with Home Assistant remotely — from a quick written consult to hands-on rescue of a broken setup.
What I do:
- Architecture review and written recommendations for new builds
- Rescue jobs: broken automations, dead Zigbee mesh, unstable integrations, failed updates
- Integrations: Zigbee2MQTT, MQTT, Modbus, DALI-2, ESPHome, Node-RED, Frigate CCTV
- Server and infra: Proxmox, Docker, Linux, backups, VLAN/VPN remote access
- Documentation: wiring maps, admin guides, handover notes
- China hardware sourcing and QC for smart home projects
How we work:
- You describe the problem and share access (dedicated service account, VPN or screen share)
- I diagnose and fix, or deliver a written report
- We test together, I document the changes, access is revoked
Background: 13+ years around physical systems — LED hardware sourcing in China, PLC-based climate equipment, 5 years at Yandex (construction/electrical/smart-home categories), Samsung SmartThings content. Founder of Udobny Dom (udobnidom.ru), a Home Assistant integration practice. Real cases in portfolio: 39-device retrofit (ZILART, Moscow), DALI-2/Modbus lighting, self-hosted Proxmox + Frigate infrastructure.
What we need from you: A description of the problem or the goal, your current setup (devices, server, integrations), and access for hands-on work: a temporary service account, VPN or a screen-share session. For a written consult — photos/diagrams help.
