Trust & Safety on XDBay

XDBay helps clients and contractors work on clear terms, reduce risk and keep the key agreements inside a single platform.

To protect both sides, XDBay combines identity verification, escrow, NDA, in-platform communication and project history. Identity can be confirmed by the platform without publicly disclosing personal data.

The core safety elements of XDBay

Six mechanisms that together reduce the risks of remote work.

Identity verification (KYC)

Clients and contractors pass KYC under platform rules. This confirms identity, reduces the risk of fake accounts and builds a professional environment. The verification status is visible, while the documents are never disclosed to the other side.

Escrow for project payment

Before work starts, the client reserves the amount in USDT. Once the delivery is accepted, the funds are released to the contractor. If there is a disagreement, the money stays reserved until a decision is made.

NDA and confidentiality

The parties can sign a confidentiality agreement inside the deal — for work with closed source code, commercial and technical information. An NDA does not replace careful handling of access credentials.

Working communication inside XDBay

Task discussion, requirement changes, interim results and decisions are recorded in the internal chat. Video calls and screen sharing — with no need to move to third-party services.

Locked-in project terms

Before the start, the parties agree on the task, the deliverable, price, deadlines, milestones, acceptance criteria, handover format and confidentiality requirements. For complex projects — milestones.

A record of how the work was done

Messages, files, changes to the terms, demos and repository history help track progress and confirm the delivered work during acceptance or a disagreement.

A verified profile with public privacy

XDBay separates identity verification from profile visibility. A verified identity means the user has completed the verification procedure the platform requires.

A private public profile means other users are not shown documents, home address or other restricted data. What can be shown publicly is the professional name or pseudonym, specialisation, skills, rating, reviews and project history — within XDBay settings and rules.

Identity verification does not guarantee a user's qualifications, the quality of future work or the absence of risk. The client should still review the specialist's experience and agree the project terms in detail.

Handing over access safely

Never send seed phrases, private keys, recovery codes or the password to your main account. Create temporary accounts, grant minimal permissions, enable MFA/2FA and revoke access once the project is finished. XDBay never asks for a seed phrase or a private key.

Principles

Our principles

Transparent terms

Price, deadlines, milestones and delivery criteria are fixed before the work begins.

Payment secured before the start

The contractor begins work after confirmation that the funds are reserved for the project.

Minimal data disclosure

Only the information needed for professional interaction and allowed by the rules is shown.

Verifiable agreements

Key decisions and deliverables are kept inside XDBay and are taken into account when a disagreement is reviewed.

Zero tolerance for fraud

Fake deals, forged documents, phishing and review manipulation violate the platform rules.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The user has successfully passed the identity verification XDBay requires. It is not a guarantee of professional qualifications or of the outcome of a future project.
Documents and restricted personal data are not shown to other users. The exact handling is defined by the XDBay Privacy Policy and AML/KYC Policy.
Once the terms are agreed and XDBay confirms that the required amount is reserved in escrow for this project.
The parties first try to agree on fixes. If they cannot reach an agreement, the dispute resolution procedure applies and the funds stay reserved until a decision is made.
XDBay provides tools to check a profile, lock in terms, communicate and pay safely, but it does not guarantee the outcome of every deal. A specification, milestones, acceptance criteria and an independent review reduce the risk.
Paying directly outside the deal deprives both sides of escrow protection and may violate XDBay rules. All project settlements should run through the method the platform provides.
